ProMax Electric Water Heater

High efficiency water heaters from ProMax Plus series are available with the tank capacity from 40 to 80 gallons and they are called high efficiency where the energy factor is over 0.92. Just for comparison, standard models such as the above ProMax, have the EF factor in a range from 0.81 to 0.93. High energy efficiency allows you to get some incentives as they meet requirements for most electric utility rebate programs.

The reason for their high efficiency can be found in thicker 2.5" CFC-free foam insulation with the insulation R value 20 and energy saving external heat traps.

To maximize the hot water output, ProMax Plus electric models are equipped with the DynaClean diffuser dip tube which helps in reducing the lime and sediment buildup.

A.O. Smith ProMax Plus High Efficiency electric water heaters are backed by the 6-year warranty with an option to extend to 10 years.
