Ecostor Indirect Systems for electric backup heating

Optimizer Temperature Control System is the thermostatically mixing device system that is used to provide comfortable outlet temperature and steady hot water flow. To protect the system from overheating, automatic surface mounted thermostats are used with cut-off devices.

Bradford White Ecostor SC solar is the indirect system that features internal single wall heat exchanger to provide efficient heat transfer from heated water in solar collectors/panels to the surrounding water. Immersed electric heating elements are used as the backup, providing 4.5 kW of power per element and with an option to heat water as a single or dual option. With the screw-in style, these heating elements are easy to install and service.
Bradford White Ecostor2 DC solar heaters are built with the double wall glass coated Vitraglass heat exchanger.
Depending on the hot water demand there are 3 models available; from 60 to 115 gallon tank size.
Bradford White Ecostor DC solar indirect system features dual heat exchanger with the upper single-wall element and lower double-wall coil, providing enhanced heat transfer. This advance and flexible design allows easier installation while combining two different heating systems, like solar, wood burner, geothermal, space and water heating that can also work independent.
Ecostor DC models are produced in three sizes from 55 to 110 gallon tank capacities.
