Eemax tankless water heaters are electric units that work like other tank-less appliances for water heating, on demand while providing an endless amount of hot water from small single point use to the whole house applications.

Eemax Tankless Water Heaters - Main Features

Eemax on demand water heaters are recommended from Eemax Inc. to substitute large 80-gallon tank type units.

Eemax water heaters are 99% energy efficient as all the heating power goes toward heating the water.

When compares to the tank type models, tankless appliances are working without stand-by loss, which means it heats the water only when you need it, it doesn't sit in the tank, and it is reducing the carbon footprint.

Eemax tankless water heaters designed for the residential application are with the unlimited hot water production, covering up to 3 applications; like showers, kitchen sink, for bath and any other house needs.

They are easy to install due to its compact, space saving design making it simple to mount almost anywhere. They operate very simple by using the flow switch to activate the unit when there is a hot water demand. Recommendation is close to the point of use spot.

Eemax Inc. makes the heaters safe, where scalding and high temperatures of hot water are avoided through the scald prevention and computer controlled micro-processing temperature control.

Other quality features ensure reduced calcification, liming and sedimentation. Ni Chrome element provides the optimum heat transfer and durability. High temperature limit switch protects the element from burn out.

Selecting Eemax Tankless Water Heaters

When selecting Eemax on demand water heater you should know the right heating power of the unit, in kW, or energy needed to heat the flow rate required for your application and temperature rise. You also have to determine the incoming water temperature based on the area where you live; warm or an average climate area.

Example: For 4 gpm and temperature rise of 45 F you need around 24 kW of the heating power.

Note: Flow rates needed for the shower use is from 1.5 to 4 gpm, kitchen 1-1.5 gpm.

There are several categories of Eemax tankless water heaters available for residential electrical heating:

Point of Use

Whole House

Flow Controlled, applies on both point of use and whole house units

Thermostatic, applies on both point of use and whole house units

Models for Point of Use Applications

Eemax electric point of use heaters (EX and SP series) are usually designed for on demand hand washing application, as the dishwashing booster, for kitchen and bar sink and even multiple lavatory.

Small in size, dimension of 10.75" W x 5.25" H x 3" D, and 4 lbs in weight, Eemax units fit virtually below any bathroom sink without occupying lots of space. Eemax Inc. manufacturer provides the limited warranty of one year for parts and 5 years if leaking occurs.

Depends on your home electrical requirements you can choose between 120, 240, 208 and 227 V models.

There are also two sub-categories; low and high flow point of use heaters.

Eemax low flow water heaters can be found with the heating power of 2.4, 3, 3.5, 4.8 and 5.5 kW with the bottom connection, cold, hot and cold feed, with and without adjustable temperature limit. If the unit is equipped with the adjustable temperature limit, which is from 100 to 140F, it is shutting down the unit when the temperature reaches the desired temperature. Other units, without this control are flow controlled. Low flow units are mainly used for single lavatory handwashing.

Eemax high flow units are used for kitchen and bar sink applications, as a dishwasher booster (providing max of 180 F), for multi station modular sinks or the hydronic radiant floor heating. One of the main advantages is its constant temperature while it supplies several sinks with hot water at the same time.

High flow water heaters are operating on 240 V (or reduced to 208 V) with an option to provide 6.5, 7.5 and 9.5 kW heating power. Models EX65T, 75T and 95T are equipped with the high adjustable thermostat ranging from 100-140 F (180 F upon request) and the advanced microprocessing temperature control.

To ensure the proper temperature rise, Eemax models are delivered with the flow restricting aerator that allows the flow to be between 0.5 and 2 gpm (flow controlled units).

Eemax single point water heaters SP are mainly with the top plumbing connections, and smaller heating power including 2.4, 3, 3.5, 4.8 and 5.5 kW as low flow and 6.5, 7.5 and 9.5 kW for high flow applications, providing the recommended temperature of 105-110 F.

Water Heaters for Whole House Application

The largest models of the Eemax tankless water heaters are the whole house models. Hot water delivery is controlled by the digital microprocessor to prevent from scalding burns, especially for kids.

There are six available models, called HomeAdvantage whole house water heaters, ranging from 11.5 to 38 kW heating power, all of them using the adjustable thermostat.

Nice and sleek design with the stainless steel exterior, HomeAdvantage models are compact and still small, easy to install in any home.

Models with 11.5, 15 and 19 kW are used for single bath homes providing max of 3 gpm hot water flow and weighting from 4.5 to 12 lbs.

Models with 23, 28 and 38 kW are used for multi bath residential homes providing max hot water flow of 6 gmp and weighting from 16 to 20 lbs.

The largest model requires 160 A, or four breakers (4x40A). The min. flow rate is 0.85 gpm.

All the plumbing connections are installed at the bottom of the unit.

Eemax Inc. manufacturer also provides a limited warranty for the whole house units of one year on parts and five on water leaks.

Eemax Tankless Water Heaters - Series two, three and four

Eemax tankless water heaters from series two are used for single shower homes or as the dishwasher booster, helping the tank water heater to provide high temperature, usually around 180 F. Series three and four are used as the whole house for up to two and three shower homes, delivering up to 4 and 6 gpm.

Available Series Two models are from 11.5 kW to 19 kW all with the two heating modules, Series Three 22.5 and 28.5 kW with three heating modules and 38 kW for Series Four (four heating modules).
All models are LEED certified.
