PROPANE GAS WATER HEATER PROBLEM

PROPANE GAS WATER HEATER PROBLEM

by Barry Brooks

ON 4/03/09 I replaced my last RUUD hot water heater with a new Pacemaker model PH2-50-36PF, SN RULP0309407297, MANF DATE 03/2009. Since then I had the gas valve replace due to uneven temperatures. The part was under warranty but still had service costs. Now I'm having to relight the pilot light every day or two. I replaced the thermocouple with a new Ruud sealed gasket kit and I'm still having the same issue. The water heater is located in an attic space and vented through the roof. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
