2002--replaced standard water heater with power vent water heater. Quit working in 2014.
Purchased Richmond FVIR Certified in April of 2014. June 2015 quits working because flammable vapor sensor quit. Was told it quit due to possible fumes from chemicals stored in basement.
Moved laundry detergents etc to other side. Worked until September 10. Waited till September 13 for service appointment. Sensor to be replaced again. This time $90.00 for labor part is no charge. But to have part put in another $90.00 for repairman to come out. Why do we have to babysit this one? What happened to the one that lasted approx 12 years it didn't require any babysitting?
