The Kenmore 33262 Elite model is another Energy Star model that utilizes a patented air intake system for the enhanced efficiency. As opposed to other models, this model is equipped with the powered anode that protects the metal storage tank from corrosion but does not deteriorate over time as non-powered sacrificial anodes.
